Triond - My Favourite Online Earning Method

By far my favourite and most lucrative method of making money on the Internet is via Triond. If you have not yet heard of Triond, Google them for in depth info on all the benefits of joining this online publisher. I first joined Triond 1 year ago and submitted about 6 articles then. Would you believe those six articles are still earning money for me today? That's right, I am still earning money today from six simple articles I wrote 1 year ago. This is because Triond will pay you lifetime royalties on anything you write.

You do not need to be a brilliant writer to make money on Triond. They have many writer's whose first language is not English and many of their articles are accepted. As long as you can string together sentences that are coherent and interesting you can make good money writing for Triond.

On the the right at the top of this blog you will see a widget that contains some of my most recent Triond articles. Take a look at them to get an idea of some of the topics that Triond accept.

If you feel that writing is not for you Triond also accepts photos, audio and video and will pay you lifetime royalties on these too.

Get Organised

Today I realised I will need to develop a simple system to do my online business in an oganised manner. Without such a system it can be very easy to get lost in a sea of online data.

It can be so tempting to randomly surf whatever comes into your mind and eventually, hours later, you find you have not achieved as much as you wanted to achieve. I think working online should be treated in a similar way to working in a 'proper job' offline; one has to decide on the hours one will work for the day and the tasks to complete that day....and then get them done.

To get more organised I created a list of the sites that I've joined and under each website I have created a to-do-list for that site....I then systematically do each thing on the list...my productivity has quadrupled as a consequence.

Although I am spending the same amount of time on the net, I am getting more done because I am working smarter now, not just harder.

Hopefully my new system will be reflected in increased sales....I'll keep you posted.

Advertising & Marketing Has To Grab Attention

Why are the PTC and PTS adverts SO BORING?
I included the above video as a reminder to myself and to others that advertising is all about getting people's attention. As a member of countless traffic exchanges and PTC sites I get so fed up of seeing the same old boring adverts that I felt compelled to write something about this here.

Affliate ads like the ones on Clickbank all look the same. They all try to appear different to each other but when you see hundreds of such ads a day you realise there is very little difference between them.

The people who create such ads are doing themselves a disservice because I am sure many surfers are not even reading most of the ads as they surf on the traffic exchanges.

Think about it, how many ads do you really read when you are clicking a couple of hundred ads per day...after a while my eyes glaze over and I find I am clicking just to get the credit.

Surfing should be fun...I am sure if the sites had something to offer that was fun or inherently interesting or different to look at they would captivate the surfers interest more and ultimately gain more sales.

I Just Found $144 in My 'Bux.To' Account

For those of you who don't know what Buxt.To is, it is a Paid-To-Click (PTC) site that pays you to click on adverts; I joined Bux.to. about 10 months ago.

About 2 months after joining (and clicking on about 10 ads a day every day) a close family friend of mine became very ill and I could not bring myself to go on the internet for about 10 months.
Yesterday I decided to look in on my old Bux.To account just to see if it was still open, and it was. But to my utter surprise and amazement there was $144 in it. 10 months ago there was only about $25 in it.

My account had been growing even though I had not been clicking.

"How can this be?..." I hear you ask. Well the answer lies in my referrals. During my 2 active months I had bought one of the Bux.To referral packages. It was one of their cheapest packages and I think at the time I paid around $30 for 35 referrals.

It was the clicking of my diligent 35 referrals over the past 10 months that turned the $25 I had in my account into a whopping $144.

So in conclusion, my little story highlights the importance of having referrals...if you can afford to buy referrals I think it can be a really good investment.

Duplication Is The Key To Success

Making money on the net is all about duplication.

As soon as I saw the above statement on someone's online article it struck a massive cord of truth for me...it was a bit of a eureka moment. This statement made me realise what I must do If I want to become a successful internet entrepreneur.

My own personal definition of 'duplication' as it applies to making money on the net is getting others to promote your site with the minimum of effort, time and money spent by you.

There are many, many ways to create duplication and the ones you choose will depend on your experience, your budget and the amount of time you have to set things up.

There are countless money making websites that say 'making money on the internet is easy and just a few clicks away'.

Making money online is really difficult for the newbie and this is the main reason why:

There is so much to learn and learning takes time and trial-and-error.
Firstly if you know little about computers and the internet it can be really daunting and time consuming to learn the jargon and become familiar with the layout of internet pages. So much time will be spent looking up terms in dictionaries and online encyclopedias. I remember when I first started researching making money online I didn't even know what a blog was. There are so many money making terms and phrases to learn like, affiliate marketing, traffic exhanges, Google adsense, pay-per-click etc, etc, etc.

Before I go on I must confess to not being an expert internet entrepreneur; I am no such thing. I am just an ordinary person with very little experience of making money on the net. I have tried some ideas, joined countless sites and made many mistakes and very little money, so far. This is what inspired me to create this blog because I was sure there must be so many people just like me on the net....people who are a little fed up of seeing so many internet entrepreneurs speaking as though it's sooooo easy to make money online...I have news for you guys it isn't, its bloody difficult, time consuming, frustrating and often soul destroying...but that does not mean its impossible...and this is what keeps me going. With this blog I hope we can learn together what to do, and what not to do to earn money online.

I do believe there are real people out there making lots of money on the internet (they can't all be lying), people who are no different to you and me; I know I want to be one of those people - and I'm sure you do too. How wonderful would it be to work from home and earn multiple streams of passive income with nothing more than my laptop and an internet connection. This is my dream and I hope my dream can come true right before your eyes because I will document every success and every failure here in the weeks and months to come.
